- Conduct thorough audits of billing documentation for compliance
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure coding precision
- Utilize Epic EHR and Medisoft billing systems daily
- Generate monthly revenue cycle reports for leadership review
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in outpatient settings
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC credentials required
- Expert knowledge of HIPAA compliance and CMS regulations
- Proficiency in claim scrubbing and denial resolution workflows
- Strong analytical skills with attention to financial details
- Experience with Colorado Medicaid and commercial insurance plans
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
