Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Administer medication reminders and document compliance accurately.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, shopping, and social events.
- Monitor the client's physical and emotional well-being and report any changes to the care manager.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Previous experience as a CNA, HHA, or Personal Care Aide is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must be willing to submit to a health assessment.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
