Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care across diverse medical units including ER, ICU, and Surgical Services
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while maintaining accurate medical records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond swiftly to changes in condition
- Provide education to patients and families regarding treatment protocols and preventive care
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active NYS RN license (or compact license with NY endorsement)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (EPIC a plus)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication abilities with patients and interdisciplinary teams
- Flexibility to work day, evening, night, and weekend shifts
