Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, including walking and transferring to wheelchairs.
- Prepare and serve meals and assist patients with eating if necessary.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Assist with light housekeeping duties related to patient care.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- CNA certification is a plus but not strictly required for qualified applicants.
- Strong compassion and a desire to help others.
- Ability to lift and move patients safely (physical stamina required).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to complete on-the-job training.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
