Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs, develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in accordance with facility protocols.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and licensed providers.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to interventions, documenting all findings accurately.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and interdisciplinary care teams.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment, and recovery processes.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients.
- Participate in shift handovers and unit huddles to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida or compact license eligibility.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong computer proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel and adapt to new environments and teams.
