Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary needs
- Monitor vital signs and document health observations
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and light housekeeping
- Administer prescribed medications under supervision
- Transport clients to medical appointments and errands
- Maintain accurate care records and client confidentiality
Qualifications
- Valid New Mexico HHA certification or willingness to obtain
- Minimum 1 year home health care experience
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and compassion working with elderly or disabled clients
