Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs per care plans
- Assist with mobility transfers and light housekeeping duties
- Transport patients to medical appointments and errands
- Document patient care progress accurately and timely
- Comply with HIPAA regulations and safety protocols
- Maintain open communication with families and care coordinators
Qualifications
- Current Minnesota Home Health Aide certification required
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Minnesota driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check
- Strong interpersonal skills and empathy
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Proficiency in electronic documentation systems
