Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
- Prepare nutritious meals and accommodate dietary restrictions
- Perform light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, tidying)
- Monitor vital signs and document patient progress
- Administer prescribed medications accurately
- Transport clients to medical appointments and errands
- Offer emotional support and companionship
- Implement care plans under RN supervision
Qualifications
- Massachusetts HHA certification required
- Minimum 1 year home care experience
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper techniques
- Fluent English communication skills
- Trustworthy background check clearance
