Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and prescribed exercises
- Perform light housekeeping tasks and maintain a safe environment
- Transport clients to appointments and social activities
- Administer medication reminders under supervision
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Current Texas HHA certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Clean criminal background check and TB test
- Compassionate patient demeanor and reliability
