Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility transfers and ambulation using proper techniques
- Perform light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Administer prescribed medications under supervision
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Comply with HIPAA regulations and agency protocols
- Build meaningful relationships through compassionate companionship
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional home health aide experience
- Current Pennsylvania Home Health Aide certification
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills
- Clear background check and drug screening
- Experience working with geriatric or special-needs populations
