Responsibilities
- Provide personalized personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary needs
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain safe living environments
- Monitor and document client vitals and health status changes
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and prescribed exercises
- Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support
- Administer medications accurately under supervision
Qualifications
- Current Ohio Home Health Aide (HHA) certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass comprehensive background checks and drug screening
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Basic CPR/First Aid certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
