Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals while accommodating special dietary requirements
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and organization
- Monitor vital signs and document health status changes for care team
- Provide mobility assistance and safe patient transfers
- Administer prescribed medications under supervision
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance client wellbeing
Qualifications
- Current California Home Health Aide (HHA) certification or willingness to obtain
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Basic CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication skills and compassionate nature
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed care plans
