Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
- Monitor patient health and report any changes in condition to the registered nurse.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping tasks.
- Transport patients to medical appointments or social activities as needed.
- Administer medication reminders as directed by the healthcare team.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for clients.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred.
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
