Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs
- Transport clients to medical appointments and errands
- Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain safe home environment
- Document patient care and report changes in condition to RN supervisor
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and families
Qualifications
- Current Maryland HHA certification or CNA license
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Valid Maryland driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow care plans
- Compassionate nature with patience and cultural sensitivity
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
