Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Provide companionship and emotional support to elderly and disabled individuals
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in client condition to care coordinator
- Administer prescribed medications and assist with mobility transfers
- Light housekeeping tasks and transportation to medical appointments
- Maintain accurate care documentation and follow care plans
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 6 months home health or caregiving experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Valid Maryland driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass thorough background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and compassion for vulnerable populations
- Reliable transportation and punctual work ethic
