Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Monitor vital signs and document client observations
- Assist with mobility transfers and range-of-motion exercises
- Administer prescribed medications under supervision
- Perform light housekeeping tasks and client laundry
- Transport clients to medical appointments and errands
- Maintain accurate care records and communicate with care team
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year home health aide experience preferred
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Valid Maryland driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Pass background check and health screening
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate demeanor and patience working with elderly/disabled
