Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as weight, temperature, and blood pressure, as directed by the nurse.
- Prepare meals and assist patients with feeding according to dietary restrictions.
- Provide medication reminders and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Transport patients to and from medical appointments or recreational activities.
Qualifications
- Current Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
