Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Monitor and report changes in a client's physical condition and behavior to the nursing team.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce isolation and improve mental health.
- Administer medication reminders as directed by the supervising nurse.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and community outings.
- Document daily care logs and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Qualifications
- Current Colorado Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable personal transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
