Responsibilities

  • Accurately prepare and package prescription medications for patient pickup or delivery.
  • Verify patient information, insurance details, and physician orders to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Assist the Pharmacist in the dispensing process, including labeling, unit-dose packaging, and compounding.
  • Manage inventory levels, including checking stock, reordering supplies, and performing monthly stock counts.

Qualifications

  • Current, active Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
  • Washington State Board of Pharmacy Technician license or eligibility.
