Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to healthcare team
- Provide medication reminders and support prescribed treatment plans
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Maintain detailed care notes and communicate with family/case managers
- Light housekeeping tasks to ensure safe, clean living environments
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience required
- Ohio HHA certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly/disabled clients
- Reliable transportation to client locations throughout Franklin County
- Background check and TB test clearance required
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
