Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping as directed by the client's care plan.
- Monitor and report changes in the client's physical or emotional condition to the nursing supervisor.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, errands, and social activities.
- Administer medication reminders and track intake as authorized by the supervising nurse.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients to improve their quality of life.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CNA or HHA certification preferred but not required; we provide paid training for the right candidates.
- Current valid driverβs license and reliable transportation required.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine, patient-centered approach to care.
- Physical ability to assist clients with mobility, transfers, and lifting as needed.
- Ability to work independently while following specific care plans.
