As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in helping our clients maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities

  • Personal Care Assistance: Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting in a respectful and dignified manner.
  • Mobility Support: Help patients move safely in and out of bed, walk, or use wheelchairs and walkers.
  • Medication Management: Prompt clients to take their prescribed medications at the scheduled times and report any missed doses to the supervising nurse.
  • Household Tasks: Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, dishwashing, and preparing meals that meet specific dietary restrictions.
  • Companionship: Engage in conversation and activities to reduce isolation, providing emotional support and building rapport with clients.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED is required. Completion of a state-approved Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program is strongly preferred.
  • Certification: Current and valid state licensure or certification as an HHA or CNA is mandatory.
  • Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation for client travel.
