Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, surgical, and orthodontic treatments
- Perform chairside duties: instrument transfer, suction management, and four-handed dentistry
- Execute infection control protocols and sterilization procedures per OSHA standards
- Manage patient scheduling, digital charting, and treatment coordination
- Take precise dental radiographs and assist with digital imaging
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal inventory management
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (RDA or DA from accredited program)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Proficiency in dental software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft preferred)
- Strong knowledge of dental instruments and equipment
- Exceptional communication and chairside manner
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
