Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Administer medication as directed by the nurse and document care provided.
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred.
- Current valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
