Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as toileting, feeding, and mobility support.
- Monitor and report changes in client behavior, physical condition, or medication needs to the nursing supervisor.
- Prepare light meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry as assigned.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and provide transportation support.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to enhance the client's quality of life.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Current Home Health Aide (HHA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification is highly preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and a patient demeanor.
- Physical stamina to perform the duties of the position, including standing, bending, and lifting.
