Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide medication reminders and assist with light medication administration as directed.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients to improve their quality of life.
- Assist with mobility transfers, including using walkers, wheelchairs, and hoyer lifts.
- Monitor client health status and promptly report any changes or concerns to the case manager.
- Accurately document daily care logs and incidents in compliance with company policy.
Qualifications
- Current North Carolina Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
