Responsibilities
- Provide personalized in-home care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Assist with meal preparation and medication reminders under professional guidance
- Monitor client vital signs and report health changes to care coordinator
- Maintain clean, safe home environments using provided equipment
- Transport clients to appointments (mileage reimbursed)
- Document care activities accurately in electronic health records
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Qualifications
- Valid New Mexico Home Health Aide certification
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable transportation with valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with provided equipment
- Compassionate demeanor and strong communication skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of home safety protocols
