Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and document health observations
- Assist with mobility transfers and use of provided medical equipment
- Prepare nutritious meals and monitor dietary needs
- Administer prescribed medications under supervision
- Transport clients to medical appointments as needed
- Maintain clean and safe home environment
Qualifications
- NY State HHA certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Minimum 1 year home healthcare experience preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks
- Strong communication and empathy skills
- Background check clearance required
