Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and respiration rates, as directed.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding based on dietary restrictions.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to ensure patients feel comfortable and safe.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties essential to the patient's care plan.
- Transport clients to medical appointments or community outings using provided vehicle or public transit.
- Administer medication as prescribed and reported to the supervising nurse.
Qualifications
- Current and valid California Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and assist patients (up to 50 lbs).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality.
