Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Operate digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and specialized dental equipment
- Take accurate dental impressions and pour models
- Perform chairside assistance with advanced dental technologies
- Document patient care using practice management software
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent NY license
- 2+ years clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency with digital radiography and CAD/CAM systems
- BLS/CPR certification
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
- Experience with Eaglesoft or Dentrix software preferred
