Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and light housekeeping duties
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs as trained
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when needed
- Transport clients to appointments and social activities
- Document care activities and maintain accurate records
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of home health aide experience preferred
- Current Georgia HHA certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check
- Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, or overnight shifts
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and care protocols
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
