Your Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide safe and respectful personal hygiene assistance.
- Support mobility by helping patients walk, transfer, or use mobility aids.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in a patient's condition to the nursing team.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and community activities.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred.
- Current, valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work independently and maintain patient confidentiality.
