Job Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and empathetic HHA to assist our patients with daily living activities, ensuring they remain safe, comfortable, and happy in their homes.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Administer medications and remind patients to take prescriptions on schedule.
- Provide light housekeeping and laundry services to ensure a safe and clean living environment.
- Accompany patients to medical appointments and run errands as needed.
- Monitor and report any changes in the patient's physical or emotional condition to the nursing supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Current, valid State of Missouri Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and a warm, empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and assisting patients up to 50 lbs.
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
