Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming to ensure client hygiene.
- Assist clients with mobility and transportation to medical appointments or social outings.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in patient health or behavior to the nursing team immediately.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe living environment.
- Administer prescribed medications under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and documentation.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Must be willing to complete our state-approved Paid Training program.
- CPR and First Aid certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Current TB test and background check clearance.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine, compassionate desire to help others.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift patients (up to 50 lbs) as needed.
