Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and light exercise routines as needed.
- Prepare nutritious meals and monitor dietary restrictions.
- Administer medication reminders under the direction of a registered nurse.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to ensure mental well-being.
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and errands to maintain a safe living environment.
- Document daily care activities and update care plans accurately.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred.
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
