Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
- Monitor vital signs and document changes in client condition accurately
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
- Assist with mobility transfers, ambulation, and light housekeeping tasks
- Administer prescribed medications under professional supervision
- Transport clients to medical appointments and errands as needed
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Current Kansas CNA license or willingness to obtain immediately
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Clear background check and TB test results
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate demeanor and patience with elderly/disabled clients
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
