Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality direct patient care and assistance with daily living activities.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, intake and output, and other medical information.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning as required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly patient environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by RNs or LPNs.
- Document patient care and changes in condition accurately and timely.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in New York State.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Compassionate nature with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
