Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and walking exercises as needed.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties in the patient's home.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life.
- Monitor and report any changes in the patient's physical or mental condition to the RN supervisor.
- Accompany patients to medical appointments and errands.
Qualifications
- Valid Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Florida.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (ACLS preferred).
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented attitude.
