Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary restrictions
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain safe living environments
- Document client progress and communicate with care team
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional home health care experience
- Active District of Home Care Aide certification
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification
- Reliable transportation with valid DC driver's license
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Empathetic communication style and patience
- Availability for weekday, weekend, and overnight shifts
