Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary needs
- Monitor client vital signs and document health observations
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and light housekeeping
- Administer prescribed medications under supervision
- Transport clients to medical appointments and errands
- Maintain accurate care records and communicate with healthcare team
Qualifications
- Alaska State Home Health Aide certification (current)
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Alaska driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Compassionate attitude and patience with vulnerable populations
