Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting in a respectful and dignified manner.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take prescribed medications and report any changes in health status to the nursing staff immediately.
- Household Support: Perform light housekeeping tasks including meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Companionship: Provide social interaction and emotional support, engaging clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
- Transportation: Accompany clients to medical appointments, shopping trips, or social outings as needed.
Qualifications
- License: Current Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
- Experience: Prior experience in home health or long-term care is preferred but not always required for our immediate hire roles.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and families.
- Compassion: A genuine passion for helping others and a patient, kind demeanor.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for client transport.
