Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning based on dietary restrictions.
- Administer medication reminders and report any changes in health to the supervising nurse.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry as needed to maintain a safe environment.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and assist with mobility assistance.
Qualifications
- Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) or CNA certification preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
