Responsibilities
- Personal Care Assistance: Support clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting with dignity and respect.
- Medication Reminders: Prompt clients to take medications on schedule and communicate any side effects or issues to the supervising nurse.
- Household Tasks: Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
- Companionship: Build rapport with clients through conversation, games, and activities to promote emotional well-being.
- Vital Signs: Accurately measure and record blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and weight as directed.
- Transportation: Assist clients with transportation to medical appointments or errands.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license is preferred.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Health Requirements: Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and the ability to work independently.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
