Responsibilities
- Provide daily living assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with mobility and light exercises as directed by nursing staff.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping tasks.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to patients to improve their quality of life.
- Monitor and report any changes in a patient's physical or mental condition to the care team.
- Transport patients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and community outings.
- Maintain accurate, confidential records of patient care and daily logs.
Qualifications
- Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) or Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required.
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
