Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing support.
- Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry as requested.
- Monitor patient health and report any changes in physical or emotional condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and social activities.
- Administer medication reminders and ensure a safe environment for daily living.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care logs and patient interactions.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for client transportation.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and a genuine, empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to lift and assist patients weighing up to 250 lbs safely and effectively.
- Basic computer proficiency for electronic charting and documentation.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
