Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Mobility Support: Help patients move safely in and out of bed, walk, or use wheelchairs as needed.
- Monitoring: Observe patients' physical, mental, and emotional conditions and report any changes to the nursing supervisor immediately.
- Household Assistance: Perform light housekeeping tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, and light cleaning to ensure a safe living environment.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between the patient, family, and healthcare team, documenting daily activities and care plans accurately.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage patients in conversation and recreational activities.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current and valid Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Arizona.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a home health or caregiving setting preferred.
- Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid Arizona driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, patience, empathy, and the ability to work independently.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
