The Role:
As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential personal care and companionship to clients in the comfort of their own homes. You will play a vital role in helping our clients maintain their independence and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure and temperature, and report any abnormalities to nursing staff.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry duties.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to enhance their quality of life.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, social events, and shopping trips.
- Document daily care activities and client progress accurately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred but not always required for experienced candidates.
- Current valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine, compassionate demeanor.
