Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, and grooming to ensure comfort and dignity.
- Monitor patient health and report any changes in condition or behavior to nursing staff immediately.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and personal preferences.
- Assist with mobility, including transferring patients to and from bed or wheelchair safely.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and cleaning, to maintain a safe living environment.
- Accurately document daily care activities and any incidents in patient records.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Must be willing to complete our state-approved paid training program.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- CPR and First Aid certification is highly preferred (training available).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and able to work independently.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
