What You'll Do
As a Home Health Aide, you will assist clients with daily living activities, providing comfort and companionship while they recover or age in place. Your role is vital in helping our patients maintain their independence and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Help with mobility assistance, such as walking, transferring, or using mobility aids.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Monitor and report changes in a client's physical condition or behavior to the nursing team.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments or social activities.
- Administer medication reminders as directed by the supervising nurse.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to improve the client's quality of life.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Current driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a patient demeanor.
- Basic English proficiency.
