Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, to ensure client hygiene and dignity.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, vacuuming, and meal preparation to maintain a safe living environment.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's physical or emotional condition to the nursing team or supervisor immediately.
- Offer companionship and engage in conversation or activities to alleviate feelings of isolation and loneliness.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and walking using proper body mechanics and mobility aids.
- Transport clients to medical appointments or social activities as needed.
- Administer medication reminders in accordance with care plans.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain) is highly preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and current auto insurance are required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
